Speak Up! Buttons and the older Basic Buttons both record and play a word on the button itself. This page shows how they differ.
Speak Up! Buttons
Section titled “Speak Up! Buttons”- Speaker on the top.
- Microphone on the bottom.
- Black record and play switch on the bottom.
- 1.9 in (4.8 cm) in diameter and 1.1 in (2.8 cm) high.
- Includes three LR44 (AG13) alkaline batteries.
- Fits all FluentPet HexTiles and FlexTiles.

Basic Buttons
Section titled “Basic Buttons”Basic Buttons (Gen 1) were the original FluentPet buttons. They are no longer in production.
- Speaker on the bottom.
- Microphone on the bottom.
- Black record and play switch on the side.
- The same size as Speak Up! Buttons.
- Includes three LR44 batteries.
- Fits all FluentPet HexTiles and FlexTiles.
Connect Buttons
