For international orders shipping out of our US warehouse, taxes and duties will be charged at checkout and included as part of your shipping fees (DDP).
Do you feel the shipping fees are too high? Please keep in mind that in the US, sales tax is charged at checkout and not included in the price of the item. So, probably close to half of what you are seeing in our shipping fees is the tax you would be paying anyway, even if purchasing from a local shop.
For international orders shipping out of our shipping partner's warehouse in Germany, duties and taxes will be owed either before delivery or when your package is delivered.
Duties & taxes are fees set by each destination country's government. FluentPet does not have control over these fees.
