Updated today

To view your Base details, go to the tab in your navigation bar that says "Hardware." It will be located in the bottom right corner of your screen.

Here, you can identify your Base's battery level, serial ID number, linked Connect Buttons and created Classic Buttons.

Want to add a Base or more Connect / Classic Buttons?

If you have a Connect Base added, you can add Classic Buttons by

  • Tapping on the +

  • "Add button" in the pop up that appears

  • Tap on the vertical ellipsis in the top right corner of the screen

  • Tap on "Add classic button"

No Base added yet and you want to add Basic (Gen 1) and/or Speak Up buttons, tap on "Add manually logged button".

To view and edit your Base Settings, tap Details

In this screen, you can give your Base a name, assign the default teacher and learner (important for automatic button press assigning in the activity feed), and set the

amount of time between presses (important setting to distinguish between single-word presses and phrases).

Classic Buttons in the FluentPet App

Classic Buttons happen when a Connect Button has been unlinked, or when a Basic (Gen 1) and/or Speak Up Button is added in the app for manual input.

To see which Classic Buttons you have swipe the Base section left.

To see Connect and Classic Button details, tap on a Button.

Connect Button details show its serial number and when it was last online. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and you can unlink the Button from the Base.

Settings include the ability to edit the Button's name (Word) and Sound.

Classic Button details show its unique ID number and "Last online" is the day you created the Button. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and you can Archive the Button.

Want to delete your Base?

Long press on the base and in the pop up menu that appears select "Delete"

Long-press a Connect button, and a menu will appear allowing you to unlink or merge the Button.

Merging allows you to replace a damaged or no longer used Button and preserve the word's history.
