The Hub's touchpads use capacitive touch sensors, which are constantly recalibrating to respond best in their current environment. If you notice they aren't responding well, unplugging the Hub and plugging it back in is the quickest way to recalibrate their sensitivity. 

If you've recently cleaned your touchpads, or if your pup is a big drooler, the Hub's touchpad may have recently calibrated when they were wet. Unplug the Hub, wipe the touchpads completely dry, and then plug it back in!

Also be sure to keep your Hub flat on a carpet, wood, or linoleum floor before plugging it in.
