If your dog is typically a bit hesitant or scared around new objects, target training can help your pup get comfortable and interested in the Hub. When you teach your dog to target, they'll learn the "touch" command. With this command, you'll able to lead your dog to touch and focus on certain objects, and you'll build the trust that's necessary to get your dog comfortable around unfamiliar things.

This method is a useful tool to help get your pup engaged, confident, and comfortable around the Hub even before you turn it on for the first time! In our Target Training video series, our Chief Dog Trainer Graham Bloem shows you how to use this method when introducing your pup to the Hub.
