Your dog may not see the lights as a meaningful signal that is worth any attention at first. This learning happens later, and often involves some trial and error.

Each dog learns differently, and takes a different amount of time to reach each of the four major stages of initial learning (getting comfortable with the Hub, becoming curious about it, learning that the touchpads are meaningful, and then learning that the lights are meaningful). Some dogs are more curious than others, some are more food motivated, some are less bold.

While the Hub’s touchpads and lights are intuitive for humans, they are not meaningful to your dog at first - this is learned from the Hub over time.
