If you need to move Buttons to a different Base, the process is pretty simple. No phone or re-recording of the button audio is required, just a pinhole push, and a couple of Base button presses and you are on your way.

It's important to note that when you move the Buttons to a second Base, they will be temporarily linked to both Bases, so it's important to sync the Bases before pressing the Button to prevent it from rolling Back the process. To do this, simply press the button on the bottom each of the Bases one time.

Steps:

  • Use the pin-tool and push the button in the pinhole on the underside of the connect Button you want to move. This starts the linking process for that Button.

  • Push the button on the destination Base, wait till you hear the sound that confirms the Button is linked. (don't press the connect Button)

  • Now push the button on the original Base to synchronize and unlink the Button you just moved.

That's it! Now test your Button and the audio should (only) come from the destination Base. The Button should appear in your app as assigned to the new Base. All history will be moved over along with the audio.

If you have a lot of Buttons to move you can batch the process.

  • Button 1: Stab the link button

  • Button 2: Stab the link button

  • Button 3: Stab the link button

  • Button 4: Stab the link button

  • Destination Base: press the bottom button and wait until the 4 Buttons are linked

    • don't press any of the Buttons you're moving

  • Original Base, press the bottom button to sync

You can do this in batches of 4. You only need to push the Base button once on the destination Base to link all Buttons. Wait to push the original Base button until the end of the linking to the destination Base.
Again, be careful not to activate the Button after the Stab until both Bases have been synced, as it will revert the move.
